Hardly any big-budget movie goes by these days without an accompanying video game release -- but the absence of a game based on Stephanie Meyer's Twilight property is causing publishers to miss out on millions, according to British trade paper MCV.
"Given how hot a property it is, Twilight could easily present a seven-figure exploitation opportunity," analyst Nick Gibson told the publication, "especially if publishers look at taking it beyond retail gaming and considers network gaming."
Gibson goes on to suggest such a game would perform well with the broader audiences of the Nintendo's Wii and DS machines, and would be unlikely to be targeted at gamers with Xbox 360s or PS3s.

"The brand’s appeal could actually extend significantly beyond the expected teen girl market and into the 20- to 30-year-old female market, which has a very substantial crossover into gaming," he said.

Sinnerman, Chapter 3

Title: Sinnerman
Author: Detochkina
Characters/Pairing: Bella and Edward, All Canon, AH, OOC
Rating: M
Category: Angst, Suspense

Summary: The story of Bella's corruption—“If only I made myself look beyond the elusive idea of changing my life around, I would've realized how incredibly naive that idea sounded. At some point, I was bound to find out that all previous lessons in life would prove to be futile, as I was never taught that no great change can come without a great sacrifice. I was destined to figure it out on my own–the hard way."

So, after Bella was changed in BD, we all know she got to keep her father because of Jacob's little revealing of the supernatural. But imagine this is pre-BD. Most people assumed Bella would be changed, but what do you think the fallout would be? Edward essentially tells her she'll have to lose her family and friends because of what she will become - bloodthirsty and unchanging. Did you think Bella would cut herself off from everyone immediately, or in a few years, when it became apparent she wasn't getting any older? Do you think she would have told Charlie and Renee her secret, therefore endangering them?

Most people use the whole Bella keeping in contact through emails/phonecalls and never meeting anyone from her past face to face, which I think could work since Charlie isn't the bothersome type and Renee seems to be more distant after Bella settles into Forks.

On the controversial side, do you think Bella would have faked her death, or had it suggested to her, to give closure to everyone and ensure no one tried to go looking for her? I always thought this was an interesting concept. If she's so dead set on becoming a vampire and knows what she has to sacrifice, it seems logical, and we all know the Cullens know how to construct a crime scene. I'm just not sure Bella would have the heart to do that, and while Alice and Jasper might think about it, Edward might be fiercely against it.

Chapter One  |  Chapter Twenty Two

Chapter preview:

The sudden silence was thick, unnerving. My ears were still ringing. We'd never had an argument so loud before. We just stood there now, glaring at each other like two rival children. A shudder went through me. Rivals. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought we would come to this.

"I wish you never came here," I muttered. The lower tone was strange to me after the higher notes this confrontation had gone to.

Her face was blank now, nearly expressionless. "No, I'm glad I did. At least now I know the other path was a mistake. I'm glad I didn’t take that ring. I'm glad I didn’t say I'd marry you."
