Lainey reveals details about BD's script





Breaking Dawn script details - Spoiler alert, look away if you can't deal. Bella has the baby and drops dead. The Jacob is all sad and leaves. Then he comes back to kill the Evil Thing. Then he lays eyes on it. You see it through his eyes like tunnel vision - she's 2, she's 4, she's 9, she's a teen, she's a woman, and that's when he falls in love. It actually doesn't read creepy at all. It reads not bad. Because ANYTHING IS AN IMPROVEMENT ON STEPHENIE MEYER.

Then Edward's all sad because Bella dies. And he hears Jacob's thoughts. And he beats the sh-t out of Jacob. Jacob doesn't fight back because he's a weak and sh-t from imprinting.

she dies as a human. Then at the end of the movie, you feel her suffering and the burning and smash to her eyes, they open red. Credits. Then at the end of the credits.. Volturi Scene. Michael Sheen's character, I cant remember his name, gets word that Bella is a vampire and he's all like - I want her. Then it's over.

So far I am very impressed with Breaking Dawn. I am pretty shocked since I hated the book.

she dies as a human, and then she magically begins suffering and burning and her eyes just pop open?
no Edward biting her or injecting her with venom involved?

or did Lainey for some reason assume that this wasn't important to the story, since Bella totally hasn't said several times that she wants Edward to be the one to do it.

LOVE that Edward beats the shit out of Jacob. In my mind it's for more than just the imprinting. Also LOL that he falls in love with the 18-year-old version of her. 1) He's psychic and knows what she'll look like at 18? That really is some magical wolf power. 2) She won't really be 18, she'll be like 5. Ergo, still gross. Nice try though. Seems like that's about the best they can do to tone down the ick factor.

Pretty happy with what we're hearing so far.

Love the ending. =) It'll make people excited about the 2d part.Okay.

I wanted the book to end like that...just like avatar. I wanted to see the red eyes. I love the part where Aro says I want her about Bella. Well I'm all anti-renesmee so if that's Aro's reasoning for coming to Forks then get rid of the baby.


Wow movie edward is really aggressive. I love that he seems to not sulk and be the Edward I loved from Twilight to Eclipse. I didn't love the book breaking dawn Edward asking Jacob to give his wife puppies. It didn't seem real.

I don't really get the whole seeing her grow in his eyes. So imprinting changed in the movie. It's now you see a person and then in your mind you fall in love with them when they are an adult. I like that better, but it's Jacob so I feel like I am not getting fulfilled from that.

yeah pretty happy about Edward kicking Jacob's ass (he has it coming), but I hope it won't mean we don't get to see Bella going berserk on him...cause that's what I want to see

In Eclipse movie, it was Edward getting angry about the forced kiss, Bella was just standing there all calm and cool about it. While in the book it was the other way around.
They just can't seem to make Bella be angry with Jacob, whereas she's like that with Edward too often.

It could possibly unintentionally point out the creepiness in it. I've never understood how they could pull it off in a movie, when it wasn't pulled off in written form.

OOH if Edward is getting that pissed over the imprinting then maybe we will get some Dadward moments. Rob with a baby will be so adorable. I hope it shows him reading her thoughts outside the womb as well as inside. I can't wait to see Rob in this movie. He looks so gorgeous from the pics.
