the article pretty much praises taylor. not that that's a bad thing, but it puts taylor in the spot of "most likely to be successful", so im guessing thats why they put him in the center.
I see Taylor's PR team is working over time... it is certainly news to me (and the majority of the fandom I am sure) that HE is the main star of the Twilight franchise. There are at least two other extremely talented young cast members much more popular ... and then there's one who has an Academy Award nomination. j/s...
That's what bugs me about Lisa's reviews. In many cases, she just provides a summary of the film without actually talking about the performances. I wish Owen had reviewed it...I really want him to review Remember Me.
This is what I don't get. Rob has to prove himself, but Taylor doesn't. Taylor doesn't even have a movie after Twilight where he is in a lead role. VD just doesn't count.
not to be mean to Taylor - though I will be, but Leo could act at the age of 18. as could Matt. and Tom too. if they really want to make Puppy into the next big thing, acting classes are on the program. and he better hit them as much as he hit the gym to perfect his abs for NM. and maybe, just maybe, Rob and Kris dont really care about bringing in teh cash but about doing what they love? just a thought
and honestly, it will only be so long that his abs will lead masses to teh cine. and if someone can do what leo has done - breaking away from the teenage heartthrob thing into serious roles, its Rob
the article reads like a very bad advertisment *shakes head*
Leo could actually act well when he was 18, he got nominated for an Oscar, he was phenomenal in Gilbert Grape, and one of the most believable actors portraying someone with a disability.
Also hi, it's Animefan99 from Fanforum :D
I also agree that Kristen and Rob will probably choose films that are important to them, also they don't thrive in fame like Taylor does, I'd expect him to accept any big blockbuster film. Robert and Kristen like indie movies and character dramas.
What I took from that article isn't that HOLLYWOOD thinks Taylor is the next Leo, but his fans do. This article was obviously written by for the purpose of promoting Taylor and down playing Rob and Kristen. Either Summit or Taylor's PR people are kicking it into over drive.
Agreed. It reeks of PR, but I really do believe that in Hollywood, the real scripts are going to Rob and Kristen. You only have to look at the projects chosen. The things Taylor's accepted would never even make the "maybe" pile for Rob or Kristen.
Someone on IMDb said they thought Lautner was being pimped by the Stretch Armstrong producers who are gearing up interest to get their financing ready. The film will cost a lot so they are making it look like a sure hit to appeal to investors. The problem is they drag Rob and Kristen into their pr games.

Kristen's eyes are supposed to be green, right? LOL
She's the less look-alike of the three, imo.
They totally nailed Taylor LMAO Biiiiig neck, indeed!
Btw..the review for TYH is not really a review. It basically says what happens in the movie LOL
