Billy Burke talks about Kristen Stewart

Rumors are swirling about who will be cast in Twilight's sequel, New Moon. Twilight actor Billy Burke has his own wish list.

"I would love to have Dakota Fanning in the movie," Burke, who plays the character of Charlie Swan in the film, told PEOPLE at the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational on Saturday.

"She's one of the most talented young actors that's come around in ages."

Burke, 42, who plays the father to Kristen Stewart's character, Bella, starts shooting New Moon next month in Vancouver and can't wait to reunite with his costar.

"We get along in this weird ethereal way that I haven't gotten along with any costar before," Burke said of Stewart. "She brings something that makes me want to go to work."

Burke says he can relate to his character more the second time around since he became a father himself to his now-7-month-old daughter, who was born during the shooting of Twilight.

"It's the weirdest and coolest thing I've ever had happen to me," the actor says of being a dad.

"I had to turn down a movie last month because I didn't want to be away from the baby. I've never had to make decisions like that before. I used to be a pretty selfish bastard. Now I'm thinking like I'd rather spend time with my kid."

The best part about being a dad? "When your baby smiles at you with their whole body. It's enough to make me fall down."

Charlie was the best part of twilight, and the character that transferred so well from the book to the movie. and he seems to be awesome irl.

CHARLIE FTW. They have amazing chemistry.

Billy played Charlie so well in this movie. Honestly, the best character in the movie. He just seemed so real and honest. I can wait to see him reprise his role again.

Billy Burke is a great actor. His character is one of the funniest in the movie. When Bella leaves him is one of my favourite scenes in the movie. It was so sad that you could actually feel the pain of losing his "daughter"!
That's nice to hear some positive comments about KS too!

I AM IN LOVE WITH HIM. He is adorable and so talented. YAY MOVIE CHARLIE. ♥ And what he said about his daughter smiling is perhaps the cutest thing in the world.

And I can see why Kristen of all people would inspire her fellow actors to come to work. She's so FOCUSED.

I freaking loved billy burke as Charlie! Seriously, he was one of the best things that came out of Twilight the movie. I really was against him at first because he looked completely opposite to what I thought Charlie should look like, but he's just such a good actor and he brought some GREAT laughs to the movie.

Holy fuck. Papa Burke just got a million times more squeeable with that last comment. How is this possible?

Along with the Italy and Volturi scenes, I'm most excited to see Billy morph back into Master Pornstache when New Moon comes out more than anything else. OH ... wait ... and to see Taylor again. My hormones are dying to see what the packed on muscles he's painstakingly aquired for his inner werewolf role will do to them. I can only imgaine.

Tell me I'm not alone in this?
