Well, she's eighteen, almost nineteen at this stage.
Here, you used to be able to buy cigarettes and smoke them no matter how young you were. When I was a tiddlywink, I used to be sent to get a packet for my mother, without anyone thinking twice.

I really love these pictures of her for some reason. The candidness of it...I don't know, it's almost beautiful in a way. Reminds me of me during my cig breaks at the hospital. Where I'm just EXHAUSTED and want to relax for 5 minutes.

I'm still a little surprised by some people being surprised/shocked/outraged at the fact that she smokes. I mean, I wasn't the least bit surprised when I found out just because, as obviously unhealthy as it is, it's just a...common thing.

And yeah, it definitely doesn't make her less of a person or doesn't make me lose even an ounce of respect for her. In the end, it's also her life, she can choose what to do with it.

ia. and she's definitely over the legal age to do so in the U.S. Plus, she was thrown into a high-stress situation. She was not a big actress before Twilight and now she's... huge. That's a lot of pressure and stress, and most people smoke without that kind of weight put on them. She was thrust into it, she needs some way to cope.

Coudln't care any less if she smokes or not. That's not my health she's ruining.

The pics are cute. She kind of looks taken by surprise. Another proof of her being a nice girl, because I know I would be pissed off!

I totally understand why she is smoking...
When I'm stressed out I smoke too, i think that's normal.
Ans Kristen is stressed out all the time.
